To be different..

I'm back!!..=D ..ok not that I was gone for so long.. I'm back means..I'M BACK!! hehe.. you know.. I'm just back la.. lol.. ok I'm guessing you still don't get it.. I am in the mood of explaining.. but you're gonna think that it doesn't make any sense as usual.. and its just gonna waste my time.. when I have something important here to talk about..=)

Yesterday in Journalism class, we were asked to write about "Me, myself and I" ..I always hated that line.. because it's so SELFISH!! ..I mean no offence.. but the world does not revolve around you alone k.. =)..Anyway..as usual I started crapping on my paper.. till everyone around me was like.."are you planning to stop??" ...or.."you can make a book" ..lol.. I'm sorry, once I start I find it extremely hard to stop.. without a good conclusion.. And in my conclusion I wrote this..

"Lastly, I think the word is lacking a lot of love.. Lets reach out to others and start making a difference.. "

Then today, the headline in the Sun newspaper was "Bloodshed at sea" where the Israelis attacked a Turkish ship which was carrying aid to Gaza, killing 15 poeple!! I was speechless of cause.. Firstly, because its ISRAEL also known as the 'holy' land!! ..Secondly, you don't wanna help its ok.. but why stop others who wants to do so?? ..sigh..

Anyway yesterday my dear friend adrian, gave me one of his poem for me to read.. and wow, that dude can write la k!!.. he speaks of the world.. which is why I am inspired to do so as well.. let's see..how it goes..=)

To be different..

Is to love your neighbour

As you love yourself..

To love your enemy..

With all your heart..

Though they hurt you..

over and over again..

To be different..

Is having the courage..

To stand up for what you believe..

To say "NO" ..

when the rest say "yes" ..

To love them..

Even if they disagree

With your stand..

To be different..

Is to control yourself..

Anger may rage within you..

Hatred may possesed you..

But it can be toned down..

It can be destroyed..

when it is sealed with love..

To be different..

Is to wear forgiveness like a crown..

Even if they hold a knive against your throat..

Even if the take away your family..

For when one forgives..

He is washing away the poison from within..

He is healing..

To be different..

Is to remember..

that each and everyone is unique..

Judgemental..is a word

Where the world is famous for..

But it is also like a sword..

Piercing through each heart..

With every word..

It is wise to look at one self..

Before tearing another into pieces..

To be different..

Is to break the chains of

"Me, myself and I" ..

To make space for others..

Strangers who hunger for companion..

Children who thirst for love..

For that is where..

The beauty of life is..

To be different..

Is to throw away..

The word "hate" ..

and replacing it with "love" ..

For without love..

This world is nothing..

It is not easy to be different.. thats why we have "blooshed at sea"..as our headline for today.. It's not easy.. but it is possible..=) ..where there's a will..there's a way..
